House on the Rock Church

House on the Rock is a charismatic evangelical Bible-based church, which is ‘a home for all’.

All House on the Rock churches globally hold an annual 21-day period of fasting and prayer P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens), which takes its lead from Isaiah 58, verse 7, which describes a Godly fast, in which you ‘share your bread with the hungry.’ It culminates with a celebration service on Easter Sunday.

For this year’s ‘PUSH and Share’, the Tufnell Park church encouraged the congregation to contribute the equivalent of the food that they would have eaten to the foodbank.

During each service members donated food, and by the final day had contributed a massive total of 1,410kg. The congregation was very pleased to have contributed so much food, while fulfilling Isaiah 58’s command of a ‘chosen Godly fast’.
