The last supermarket drive for Islington Foodbank at Waitrose, Holloway Road raised 942kg of food.
The foodbank is in urgent need of extra donations, with foodbank usage up 60%, so the extra income from the supermarket drive is much appreciated by all at the foodbank. Thank you to everybody who volunteered, and donated on the day. Supermarket drive manager Reannan commented that it was a “great success”.
The next drive takes place on May 13 at Waitrose Holloway Road, if you can donate, please come along and support us.
